Chitra is an experienced educator with a strong commitment to fostering fear-free learning environments that honor each child’s unique learning style. Motivated by her own schooling experience, she advocates for both conventional and alternative educational approaches. Her interest began with exploring diverse pedagogies through her children’s schooling.
With over fifteen years of teaching experience, Chitra has worked across various systems including Waldorf, Integral Education, IGCSE, and A Levels. She holds Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Biological Sciences from BITS Pilani, and in Molecular Biology from Drexel University, USA. She has also undergone specialized training in Waldorf and Integral Education, contributing to curriculum design and mentoring for middle and high school.
She started her career teaching high school physics and later expanded to teaching math and science at both middle and high school levels, with experience preparing students for Edexcel and NIOS examinations.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching K-dramas, practicing meditation and yoga, reading, and going for walks.
